Targeted Support Right Below the Kneecap
Full knee sleeves compress a much larger area, even when the support you want is concentrated around the region just below the kneecap.
This compact strap is designed to sit around the patellar tendon area, giving you focused support without wrapping the entire knee.

I've always disliked wearing a full knee sleeve on long walks. I like the idea of supporting the area below the kneecap without covering the entire joint.
Same here. My old sleeve gets too warm when I'm outside for more than an hour.
Stairs are where I notice my knees the most. Something smaller and adjustable sounds much more practical for everyday use than the big brace I already have.
I walk every morning and prefer anything that doesn't feel bulky. The open-knee design is what caught my attention.
Does the strap stay in place while walking? My biggest issue with smaller knee straps has always been having to keep adjusting them.
Getting the tension right seems to be the key. I usually start loose and tighten it a little until it feels secure.
I do a lot of yard work and spend hours going up and down steps. I don't want something heavy on my knee the entire time, so this style makes sense to me.
The fact that it's small enough to keep in a gym bag is a plus. I'd probably use it mostly for treadmill days and longer outdoor walks.
